Vista Print questions????

Recommended Posts

So I have been hearing a lot of great things about Vista Print and thought I would give them a try. Well my wedding colors are pink and brown and we want our save the dates to be our wedding colors. There is an option to upload a design and photo and create your own but I don't know how to do it. Can someone helphuh.gif?

Which part don't you know how to do? How to design your own? Or how to upload the design you already have created somewhere else?

Personally, I create everything in Photoshop, but I know a bunch of people have used PowerPoint.

Well I don't really like any of the designs for the STD's so I was thinking of uploading my own design. I really don't even know how to make my own design. How could I do that? Also, the STD's on Vistaprint are not as cheap as I thought. If I upload my own design and create my own is it cheaper?

I, too had trouble creating my own design. I am just not that creative. I had Sarah Sprouille design us one (from this site) for only $5. It's attached to my signature. Now, we have used it to make thank you cards, return address labels and T-shirts from vista print.

I am really trying to save money on the stuff that I use just to dispense information.

I used Vista Print for my STD's for free.

I used their free business cards as an insert with my registry and wedding website info.

I used their note cards with my design on front for thank you cards. I left the inside blank and I will write personal notes in each one. I get an offer to get 10 free at a time. I have done it twice so far. I am waiting for the other free offers to get the remainder of my thank you cards free. I did have to pay 3.99 for the envelopes but I waited until they sent me a 50% off my total offer and so I paid $2.00 for them!

I ordered their large postcards and made a welcome insert for the pocket of my OOT bags. The front says Welcome to Negril and our names. The back of the postcard has all the info for our wedding weekend, including times and events and appropriate dress code. So far the only info item that I am paying for is invitations.

I used that same 50% off coupon and ordered 30 t shirts for my OOT bags with our info and design on them. They were $135 for all. I think with the shipping it came to about 150$.

I am ordering a free lawn sign with our design and Robinson Wedding --->

on it to direct people to our wedding location at the resort.

I haven't figured out how to use them for our wedding programs yet. If someone can share that info I would appreciate it!

I am so glad that I found Vista Print on this site. It has saved me lots of $$!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
