Also, my reception was on the beach too and we used X Lounge bar for drinks, which sits directly on the sand. Cafe Kafe is situated right next to the beach in the main plaza.

 

Mdb, I used Photo Souvenir's videographer just for the ceremony portion w. no additional video after that. It was worth it because the ceremony had some funny moments and I'm glad they were recorded..memories forever! In terms of quality, they did a fine job, they used music i selected for certain parts, had credits at the end and an intro to the resort at the beginning. My family that did not come certainly loved and appreciated being able to see it live.

Hi Ladies - It's been a while since I have been on the forums. I am getting married Aug. 6, 2010 - Almost Here!! I am finally hitting crunch time, so I am really enjoying catching up on all that you have been doing, for inspiration!! I still feel like there are a million things to do, but I'm ready. Also I am now in constant contact with the WC's so I will be sure to add info to the boards as I get it :)

I was thinking about it I would need to know the size of the tables, round or square, or rectangle. This also means I would probably need to know what restaurant I would go to .. Oh goodness, that is probably more than what I can know until I get there : )

I'm probably not taking them because of all of the things I would need to know prior to arriving. Just my thought. : )

That would work really well!! I will let you know. They sound pretty inexpensive. I am about to dive into all the centerpiece pictures and lock something down. I will order everything by Monday (ready to cross that off the list) and if Turquoise table runners happen, then you are MORE than welcome to use them :) L

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
