Hi everyone,

Me and fiance are trying to decide whether to get married at Excellence Punta Cana or playa mujeres. I was wondering if someone could email me any cake ,flower, colors, menu options, etc. . that they might have. If I could get an idea of what each resort had to offer, it would really help me be able to make my decision. My email is maria_2825@yahoo.com I would greatly appreciate anything you have! Maria, from what I can tell the choices are roughly the same at both resorts. I know we were thinking we were going to do the cancun resort but came back to doing PC. I used to have the docs for RC, but don't anymore. I remember when I got the docs for PC, they were basically the exact same things as the Cancun lady had sent. I'm not sure if I have the PC stuff still on my computer or not though....I'll have to look

Hello Ladies,

 

My FI and I are getting November 6th, 2009!!! We are so excited! Oh my that's so soon!

 

I was wondering about decorating for the ceremony/reception. Do we need to bring decorations and/or centerpieces down with us? For example....We'd like there to be a lot of candles and small vases with flowers. Will we have enough time to arrange this when we get down there?

 

Also, has anyone used Rick York to preside over their ceremony? How did it go?

 

Thanks for any advice you may have!

Theresa I would love to talk to you about how your wedding was. How many people did you have there? And did you get married on the beach or gazebo? Where was your cocktail hr/reception?

Ana is my wedding coordinator and she has gone above and beyond what I ever would have expected from a wedding coordinator. She is such a sweet person and she just got engaged herself!!!
We are having our ceremony on the beach, the cocktail hour at Agave (open air restaurant) and back to the beach for the reception! I highly recommend this. We attended the beach party several times across the two times we were there and it was exactly what I dreamed my reception would be, very untraditional, modern, and beachy!!! We have about 40 people traveling with us so far and we can't wait for them to experience Excellence!!

Any questions about the resort and/or planning the wedding are welcome!
Hi Everyone,

I am looking to get married at the Excellence. I thought it was a family friendly resorthuh.gif Anyone know or is just the Colonial? Also, can guest stay at either and still attend our wedding at the Excellence? I think the colonial may be more budget friendly for large families traveling with us. Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks ladies!

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010.       Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
