I have a few quick questions:

Did you have to book DR Mannia in advance or did the WCs do that for you?

What chairs did you use for the ceremony?  I'm definitely bringing sashes but I really like the white covers on the chairs that you had.

Glad it helped  :)  I told the WC I wanted DJ MAnnia and she booked him and put me in touch with him.  I used their chairs and they always cover them with their own white covers, you just add the sashes - ps - you should be able to shop around and get them at $1/sash, don't pay more.  Just google chair sashes.

They sent me a simple paper asking what flowers, cake, and other extras that I wanted.  It was like called a pre wedding survey or something like that.  I'll try to find it on my computer. I knew what I wanted prior to arriving because they sent me pictures of the cakes and flowers. I also took my own sashes and a few other items like peacock feathers for the table at dinner.  I just basically went over all of that during the 20 minutes.  I talked to her about how to tie the sashes on the chairs and also about the specifics of the tables and the ceremony set up at the rehearsal. : )  We arrived on Saturday and the Wedding was on wednesday. : )  Questions are perfectly fine, thats how I found out so much.  I learned more from my questions to everyone on here than I did the wedding coordinator.

What questionaire did they send you?  We're getting married in Feb and I've been in touch with a few different WCs but still haven't gotten any specifics down.  Did you guys seem to do a lot of planning in the 20 minutes you met with Griselda on the day you arrived?  Also, how many days before your wedding were you there.  (Sorry so many questions; your review just got me thinking...)

Also thanks to you for taking the time to do that review.  Reading it was really helpful and much appreciated by all us future EPC brides!

Make sure that you take some extra chair sashes with you.  They can tie them around the three other tables that they have there during the ceremony. Also , the banister like thing that you walk over to get to the beach.  : )

Hello Ladies!

I'm an EPC bride to be this June 10, 2011. I am so nervous about what to expect. Isyuney is my WC because Ana no longer works with the Excellence. I heard Ana was great to work with. Honestly I have had a difficult time getting detailed information out of my WC. I ask a few questions and she always responds with a one to two sentence answer- NO details. Has anyone else had trouble with this?

Hello Ladies!!! The countdown is on! May 27th is around the corner! Just a couple of questions. What are any of your husbands giving their groomsmen? Mine is doing engraved money clips but i feel he needs to do one more thing. Any suggestions? Thanks!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
