Oh my goodness Lisa, I thought I was leaving soon!   YAY!  

My engagement pictures were taken in my little town in central PA.  : )  The two ladies who shot the engagement pictures will also be shooting the wedding! : )

I'm trying to decide on video.  I was talking to my FI's mother about possibly hiring a videographer. She thought 300 was crazy so she  just bought us a camcorder.  The problem is .. we don't have anyone to run it lol.  so if you would like to be up close and personal instead of spying on the wedding, your welcome to run video LOL.  hehehe

We will be arriving on Saturday!  One week from today.  I hope your wedding day is absolutely perfect!

Oh are you paying for the wedding package with charge, travelers check or cash?  I've been trying to get responses from Isuney but i'm not sure that she understands what I am asking.  I don't want to take a lot of cash.

How is the volume of the cd player/ipod player at the ceremony? Will everyone be able to hear the music good?

Hey MDB!  We are mainly using credit cards, will have ATM card and a little cash.  I hate carrying cash.  They said we could use credit cards to pay for everything minus the musicians it sounded like.  Hope that is the case!!  See you soon   Signing off for now ladies, full report when I get back...Lisa

The sound system is perfect, we had 40 people and everyone heard it beautifully.  FYI- I used travelers checks and that also worked out well for us.

 My wedding is Jan 30, 2011.  There is a group of 30 of us flying direct from Vancouver, CA on the 27th.  We are paying $1800/pp for the week.  This includes all our flights, hotel, airport transfers and tips/gratutites.

 

 Our wedding is on the beach at 5pm and I would like to hold the cocktail hour also on the beach afterwards.  I would actually like to be present at the cocktail hour or at least part of it then head over to one of the restaurants for dinner, any suggestions on where to have dinner?  Any reviews on the Lobster Bar? or Tuscany? I think we will schedule most of the photography for the next day as our photographer said that we will likely run out of good lighting around 6pm.  Anyu  I was wondering what restaurant to hold our reception in......any suggestions?     An

After dinner likely we will head over to the disco for some more fun.  Anyone know what activities happen on Sunday nights?

We used travelers checks to to avoid fees on our cc for purchases out of the country.  It was safe and easy.

Hi Ladies,

Thank you for all of your ideas, advice and much much more.  We are leaving tomorrow night and heading to Excellence Saturday morning, With our wedding on WEDNESDAY!!!   I'm very excited and can't wait to be a MRS.  to the best man in the world.  We'll be back on the 18th.  I'll try to post the details soon after we return.

We had our wedding on Aug. 6 and it was amazing...I will do a full wedding review tonight or tomorrow.  I can't wait to share all the wonderful details!  I can't imagine a better venue AND I saw MDB (Michelle) on her wedding day and she was SO beautiful!  Ok, more to come soon...Mrs. B
