i thought i would start this thread for those trying to lose some weight and get in shape, either for their wedding or some other reason.

maybe we can post our daily food list and what we did to exercise on a daily basis. i think we can all support and inspire each other to reach our goals.

we can also post when we cheat on our diets...that way, we won't hold on to the guilt and can move on. all that want to join, post here!! cheer2.gif

Cool, not really looking to loose weight,,, maybe 5 pounds. My main goal it tone up. Yesterday I started working out, by running. On Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday I'll do weight training the other days cardio.. I'll either be dead before the wedding or in awesome shape.. I'm hoping the second one.. lol

Great idea!

Some days I need a little push to get myself to the gym.

Maintaining weight and toning is the name of the game at this point.... only 34 more days to go!

Today I plan to go and do cardio for 30 minutes (don't have time for my goal of 45 mins, but that's better than nothing) and then go to a body pump class because I really really really really don't feel like going to the gym and doing weights today. So using the class to force me!

Great idea Tammy. This morning I "power-walked" 2.5 miles in about 30 minutes. I really like to run, but I get horrible shin splints, so I've compromised to maintain some sort of consistency. I try to do it 3-4 days/week. I need to step it up though, need to start some weight training. This will motivate me.

Girls,

Has anyone taken a Pilates Class? Not a mat class, but with the actual Pilates contraption thing? A local studio in town charges $65 a class!! Seems outrageous. I just wanted to know if it was worth it. If not, I'll stick to my spin class.

lol TammyM I know how you feel. I'll either die OR look awesome. Sometimes I seriously think it will be "die"!! Today, I took the day off because I am recovering from a cold, but I will be back on the wagon tomorrow, I promise. I don't have time to screw around anymore!

Count me in! This is just what I need- some accountability! Although, my posting might look a little different than other because I work nights, so I have to count my food in 24 hour periods. What's breakfast for me is dinner for you...I'll post at the end of the night!

KarlaV - I've not used the contraption thingy, but I've had awesome results in the past with just a mat class (hmmm, maybe I should get back to that). So I would imagine that the pilates machine would do that much more for you.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
