My wording was very similar to the ones that were already posted.  I also included a page with the welcome letter that had a schedule of wedding events (Drinks get together Fri night, Sat night Welcome Dinner, and Sunday Wedding/Reception - date, time, location for each) just so everyone knew as soon as they checked in all the details.  Many guests thanked me for being so thoughtful and including the schedule as it put them at ease and they knew to plan their own fun activities around the wedding stuff.
