Ivan Luckie Photography??

Does anyone else find that his response time is a little slow? I am just trying to get some prices from him and I can't seem to get them. He emailed me back at one point asking what I wanted (wedding day coverage, TTD) and I am still waiting to hear the prices.

sometimes it can take him a few days but i think its because he might be busy. I know he's got several weddings this month already. Usually he gets back to all my emails. I'm trying to finalize the contract with him for September. i'm not sure his "policy" on prices so i dont want to list them as he may change them but ours was reasonable...less than a majority of the others out there that i've looked at.

Hi!! He's got JUNE_DREAMS wedding tomorrow and mine on Friday. That might be why he's delayed a bit. Trust me, if he wasn't busy he'd be replying super fast. I can't wait to post pictures for you ladies to see his work!

I leave to Cancun on Sunday and hope to meet with him in person soon! Wish me luck!!!

CaraW, Don't worry. He will get back to you. As the others have said..he has been pretty busy thanks to this forum..lol. Did you check out his website?? There are some nice pics on there.

Yea, I think the times when he lags a few days behind are when he's out of town and using his Iphone to respond to emails. I've corresponded with him back and forth quite a bit now, and that seems to be the pattern.

 

He's great about answering questions in DETAIL and even asked me to send him some photos I like so he can get an idea of what we're looking for/expecting. He did more than that--he actually broke down how each photo was done using what lense! lol He said he was glad to know the style I was after because he he can go into the shoot knowing what look to go for and lenses/equipment to use. I've been really impressed so far. I had some down time with my surgery and he was really great about working with us and OUR lag time for responses.

 

LadyN-definitely gonna be on the look out for your post when you return. Can't wait to find out what your experience with him is and how things go! Oh, and ofcourse the pics. lol Post details when you can, for sure!

Thanks koolatta! He just contacted me today, and the prices are really good! I will show them to my FI and hopefully we can book him soon.

Hi Ladies I just got back and we are repacking to leave to our honeymoon which I totally suggest you ladies do if possible after the wedding (sooo tired..lol)

 

I spent more time with Ivan and his wife then with a flot of my friends but Let me tell you ladies it is soooo worth it.. I havent seen all the pictures yet he just sent me two teaser which really teased me to say the least because now I am even more anxious to see them..lol Ivan is a great guy as well as photographer he is very detailed in his work.. there is so many good things to say about him but I will let his work speak for itself as soon as i get back from my honeymoon I will post up more pictures and let you ladies know more information... here is the link to my teaser pictures.. Joanna- holy smokes, I got bored tonight and actually stumbled across Ivan's flickr page--I JUST SAW YOUR TEASERS THERE then low and behold, I log into BDW and you've posted them! lol How cool is that?

 

They are GORGEOUS! Love the idea of the petals! The colors all really "pop"..just fantastic. Congrats on a couple of great teasers. If these are any indication, looks like Ivan hit it out of the park!
