I'm home from my B-pics session - Critsey shot pictures for almost 2.5 hours.. It was crazy & fun.... No sample pics yet - she's leaving for London tonight, but said I would have a couple in a few days..

Anyway - if you are on the fence about doing them - just go ahead and do it. I was nervous for all of 5 minutes - and that's while I was getting my makeup finished. As soon as I came out of the bathroom in outfit #1, all the butterflies went away.

I wore:

1) Black boy shorts (with Jason on the back left cheek) with fish nets (these were my DIY project last night - so very easy to make and much cheaper than customized girl)

2) His favorite white/silver tie with my veil

3) Fun pink & orange baby doll outfit

4) A white dress shirt of his

5) Leopard print chamise type of thing

6) A pink boa - very itchy against the skin, but fun to use....

And then combinations of some things.....

Now I'm off to work on some DIY paper projects - gotta get those door hangers done today.

Wooohooo, congrats! I'm so nervous for mine! Are you going to post some pictures when you get them? How did you DIY the boy shorts? Was it like little gems that you stuck to your boyshorts? That's such a cute idea! How fast did the 2.5 hours go? I'm trying to determine how much time to use! And last question (I swear!) was It as liberating as everyone says it is?!

I did get to peak at a few on the camera - I just hate my cheeks when I smile.... But other than that, I think they are going to come out really cool.

We did some in the bathtub (it's one of those corner units) - where she focused on my feet & shoes, but bathroom was mirrored in that corner on both sides, so I got all the angles - VERY COOL....

Ask questions - it was so much fun, and really I didn't want it to end.... For the boy shorts (give me 10 minutes and I'll post a pic of them) - I just used Heidi Swap Iron Ons (they are at AC Moore in the scrapbooking section) they are these fuzzy little letters.... And then I had a pair of black undies in a drawer that were brand new - took all of 20 minutes maybe to make them.

The time few by.... We were supposed to be out of the room by 11:30, but didn't finish up until about noon.. But I changed a lot - and she took a ton of pictures.

Yes, I'll show some as soon as I get them sent to me. I figure it'll be a couple of days.

Liberating - oh yes... I just jumped right in though - the first shots that we did were with the shorts and no top looking out a window and things - so after that the rest was a breeze.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
