Welcome!!!

I'm a little late to this thread, so I hope you're still checking in. I got married in Bermuda two years ago, and there are two places that come immediately to mind based on your ideas: The Reefs and Coco Reef Resort. Both are on the South Shore of the island (so right on the beach), and both have a cliff area where they perform weddings. I know The Reefs has a requirement for the Bride and Groom to stay at the resort, but the Coco Reef doesn't.

Any of the South Shore beaches would also be a great choice, particularly Chaplin Bay, Stonehole Bay, Warwick Long Bay or Astwood Cove.

Have a look at this thread here for some great places to start looking.

Good luck with your planning!

I am getting married there this October. If you want a cliff location, I put a deposit at Surfside originally, and they have a cliff location. I checked around and their fee is the cheapest by far. I personally had drama with them though, so I canceled. I was told when I made my deposit that I could be married on the beach, but apparently she lied to me to get me to choose there. When I called a few months later to talk about details, I was told that the lawn up on their cliff is the only location they use. I hired a planner instead, and she has been great. She only charges $500 as her fee, and that includes anything you need her to do, and unlimited consultation. Here is her site if you want to try and go with her. http://www.tiptopwebsite.com/website...sername=simsoa

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
