same problem, i was planning on just skipping the laminate and using the luggage tags like a real airline would. I'm gonna hole punch them and get that elastic string that you get with real luggage tags and have them attach it like that.

Does anyone happen to know (or how to figure this out) how long their "free specials" typically run? Or how often they mark specific items for the "free" promotions (ie. every other month the brochures go on sale for two weeks)?

I'm working on our pre-travel brochures, but we won't have things confirmed for a little while still (stuff that I'd like to include on the brochures). The "free" brochure special isn't available all the time...I've checked during times when it's not on sale. Any ideas? Thank!

  • Make sure you access Vista through the email promo that you received from them.
  • The email promo's have an expiration date in the fine print at the bottom
  • As long as you access Vista through that email, you can still order from that promo after the expiration date (or I was able to once before anyway when it was 5 days past)
  • If I receive an email that has LOTS of free things, I keep that one for awhile. I'll delete any other emails they send me in the next few days that only have maybe 8 things Free.
I found that when I wasn't ordering, my specials weren't as good. After I play an order, I get HUGE freebies.

Ooohhh...that's interesting! Thanks for the tips! Good to know that the offers remain valid even after expiration...or at least they likely will.

  • 3 weeks later...

Last night did two seperate orders....

1 hat

100 postcards

1 sticky note

1 pen

1 tote

$9.48 (had to pay to upload design)

1 hat

1 sticky note

1 pen

1 tote

$4.54

Realized that the tote is $4.41 for shipping, the sticky note and pen did not add anything to the shipping cost, and the hat brought it up to $4.54...so the hat only cost me an additional $0.13!!  Not too shabby!

I used www.vistaprint.com/deal2010 to get them!  Quite surprised since I found that from a post back in April!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
