Hi Ladies

I have been tossing up with a number of things to do for the wedding with Vistaprint, so I wanted to try out all the things - so made little stocking fillers for people

Calendar - We have a calendar of all my fav pics of FI and I for next year - LOVE IT - the photos are on glossy stock and the dates are on Matt so you can easily write on it. I am definately making up more of these for family and friends whenever they are free! Hot tip - try and make sure you get a deal where the photo upload charge is free as well as the calendar - I got stung there but noticed two days later that they were both free on the next vista email...

Desk Calendar - So happy with this for my best friend - its all photos of us travelling over the past 5 years - I love it.

Address labels - Made chrissy ones for us and some for FMIL too, again very happy. I'd probably look at using more of the space next time tho, there is a lot of room on the right hand side of each label...

Postcards - I want to design some RSVP's using the postcards so go tester ones - we will put these ones in our OOT bags for people send home. Was a little dissapointed that they weren't thinker. They definately weren't as think as traditional postcards, however they weren't flimsy either.

Rack cards (blue) and Invites (red) - I have a suspicion that Rack cards are invites were exactly the same - and I was right. Except you get 50 free rack cards and 10 free invites. You do get plain envelopes free with the invites - but I think I am happy picking them up from office works or something... So, quality exactly the same. The Rack cards are gloss on the front and Matt on the back. I chose Matt for the invites, so they are Matt both sides. You have to go with Gloss for the Rack cards, so that would be my only warning - I think they look great tho and am really happy to use them for invites and menus and programs too.

Pen - it was free so I got one as a pressie to FI with his footy nickname on it. just a little fun.

Anyway - hope this helps some of you with deciding on Vista! I'm definately going for it - now to master Illustrator and I will be all set :)!

DH helped me design and order these today. We wanted something simple but liked the idea of using pictures since so many of the people we invite won't be able to come-we just want them to know they're included. We don't have a border around them so use your imagination :-)

Invitations (Qty 60 6x9 ) with envelopes-front side only

For RSVPs we're using postcards. (Qty 100 Standard size)

We're a little late ordering so I did the 3 business day rush shipping which cost as much as the entire order.... Total spent $68 ($32 for product, the rest for shipping)

Oh, and I got a free mouse pad for my office too...

What kind of messages do people put on the door hangers for their guests? Just "Do Not Disturb" or are there other fun things to do with them?

We've decided to do jamaican jerk seasoning for our favors so I printed a receipe for Jerk Chicken on business cards I got from VistaPrint. I've also decided to do my AHR invites and RSVP cards thru VistaPrint as well.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
