No ring bearer...What to do?

Recommended Posts

So we decided not to have any sort of bridal party at all. We also are doing an adults only wedding so there will be no tiny ring bearer. Now I'm at a loss as to what to do with our rings though. Who should carry them? What do I put them in? I appreciate any ideas of what you did at your wedding even if you did have a ring bearer. Thanks!

Just give them to the minister ! Or to the wedding coordinator. You have a WC ? If so he/she will get them and prepare them on the ceremony place.

Otherwise, best solution is in FI's pockets ! and plan to have the minister ask : "do you have the rings ?". So cute :)

We had no bridal party and no ring bearer at our wedding so here's how it went:

I gave my mom my DH's ring to hold on to as I knew she'd be sitting in the front and she could quickly give it to me when it was time.

DH had his in his pocket but he decided last minute to give it to his three-year old nephew to bring up, even though he wasn't the official ring bearer. The original plan was for DH to just grab it out of his pocket when it was time.

I also had my mom hold my flowers while she watched the ceremony lol. Hope this helps you! :)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
