Hi ladies,

hang in there desser, surely you must hear something soon!!!!!!!!

Do either of you know when we need to phone Thomson's to book the extra 5kg for the wedding dress & suit? do we do it now or nearer to when we actually travel. Also are you taking the wedding dress with you on the plane in a box or small suitcase and is then classed as hand luggage? I know I will feel safer if it is with me, rather than in the hole with the other luggage.

Yes, I know thinking ahead...........

baj,

i have already thought this.i meant to do it a few weeks ago when i rang them about something else but at the end of the conversation i forgot.you can do it whenever.i am going to get one of those dress boxes that are the correct size to be classed as hand luggage then take it on the plane with me.then get a case for his suit, our shoes etc etc.

hi girls...

we have booked premium seats so we get extra 3kg, but you get 10kg hand luggage anyway so your dress wont be that heavy!? because i work for thomson i will be putting mine in the flight deck anyway so i am sorted wink.gif

if you want extra kg you can just wait till you check in and pay the extra then

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
