had a reply from wedding co-ordinator from ROR, and she has confirmed my wedding meal just waiting on comfimation of beach evening reception very excited

shellk - great idea, I bet your nephew is keeping you on your toes and I'm sure you will been kept busy running around after him. Better than any excercise,,,,,,,,I will send you a PM for my first weight in.

 

desser - great news that your wedding meal is sorted and I am sure there won't be a prob with the beach reception.

 

I bet you will get a better reply from your letter if they think everyone will cancel.

 

Reading reviews on other sites it seems common practice that some TA's just take the wedding dates and times that the couples would like and then once they have the money, just leave it up to the hotel to confirm what ever, and then tell the B2b's that you have to wait to until you get there to confirm your time. Really bad, when they could do it all on-line when couples are in the travel shop, don't even know why they need a separate wedding dept.

i know i thought that to!! but when you read on here loads of brides have had there times, receptions etc confirmed months before!?? like you said they just want your money...especially thomson!!! grrrrrrr!

Good weekend, just chilling, decided to wait until my week off end of July before I start looking for a dress........

i thought we was doing special k in a couple of week?i am just hoping that all the running around will pay off lol.we hand him back tonight.i must deserve a glass of wine to congratulate myself.if you are losing weight it won,t hurt to wait until then.they told me i have,nt got to go for my fitting until december so you have lots of time.

i need to go and find a dress for my sisters wedding on saturday now.think i have left it a bit late hehe.i bought a really nice dress last year for my best friends wedding £110 and was hoping that would still fit.i tried it on yesterday and it wont even meet bout inch too short hehe.

 

i spoke to our ta yesterday about the upgrade to a 2 storey jacquzi?suite.its £1064 extra.dont know what to do.cant really afford it but they are great.what do you think?

christening was great, got a bit drunk but not to bad was home by 12 and had a little KFC on way home fealt so guilty!!

 

shelk...that seems alot of money to upgrade when you might even get a free upgrade to that room anyway?? i would put that money to something else and just hope you get the free room upgrade

shellk - I agree with desser, wait until you get there, if you are no happy with the upgrade you get, then see how much extra it would cost. Will defo be cheaper than the TA and it is alot of money.

off on hol tomo to puerto pollensa in majorca not one of our choices but hey only £100 each half board

 

got confirmation for our beach evening reception to very exciting!! why do they tell you that you cant book your reception until a month before ours is booked now 8 months before, dont get it!??
