I went to look at BM dresses yesterday and they were so not what I was looking for ..so back to the drawing board again .......

I did notice for the 2010 pack RIU .. for the free wedding you have to have 10 booked rooms .. Was it always 10? maybe I just never paid it any mind .. anyway just I thought I'd share

its only 5k but i have done no training whatsoever hehe.i can walk it.

 

on the riu palace thread one of the ladies who gets married in august has just attached some info they have sent her.like cake+flower pics etc.the cakes are funny i defo need to by a cake topper so we don,t get a pile of icing sugar roses.im glad the cake is,nt important to us lol.

Hi Shellk, I will also be getting a cake topper and I am thinking about getting chair covers but will depend on the cost, not really wanting to spend too much extra on top of the wedding package.

 

Yes, things fine at home, attended the funeral on Wed was double, H2b's sister and her grandaughter, so sad, full term but sadly still born.

 

I have a sister who is getting married 20th June this year and she will be wearing a pearl head band that I am tempted to wear as my something borrowed. My daughter is going to try a few styles with my hair up from pictures I have seen in different mag's. She is a qualified hair dresser but now works in a bank, better pay.

 

Do you have any children?

 

Well desser back from her travels tomorrow, lets hope she brings some Sun back with her, threw it down when I finished work tonight.

Soooo I've hit a stump ladies .... on the flowers ... I got a quote for silk flowers .. but then I started thinking about just getting the bouquets and ceremony/reception flowers when i got there (Floral Fantasies) .. cost wise it may be cheaper to combine them both there ........ BUT waiting til I get there to have my flowers/decorations which I want to be a big WOW of the wedding .. unnerves me ...

 

But the big plus is everything will match ...which is one of my secret OCD's (obsessive compulsive disorders) lol ..

hopefully things will start to get back to normal for you.my sis announced last week that she is getting married 4th july.its only a low key register office type thing but that will be fun.we don,t have any children and don,t want any when we,re not saving money to pay for a wedding we enjoy going away for weekends,concerts nice holidays etc etc and i think children stop you doing that.we have a niece and nephew and our plan is to spoil them then they will look after us when we get old lol.

are you having a wedding package to include some flowers?i think you would be best waiting and ordering everything from the same place then everything will match and surely this will work out cheaper?it must be a mare being a bride to be with ocd hehe.

desser are you back from your travels?

 

shellk - I totally agree with you about being able to get away for weekends and hols. up to now we are on track with getting the wedding package paid off asap and so will defo be going away some where nice and hot in October..... can't wait.

Once the wedding is paid for just need my dress and H2b clobber and will hpefully have that sorted by the end of August.

 

msmoodyr - I am just going to wait until we meet with the WC to decide on flowers colours & if needing any up grades etc

hi girls i was back late sat evening had a great time, weather was great but rained at around 3-4pm every day so i went for a nap at these times brought back maps of jamaica for the whole wedding party, also flyers on things to do and bought myself a jamaican bikini ha its ace!! going away on 5th july with H2B and some friends so cant wait to wear it!

wedding rings arrived last week but was away so we went to try them on today at beaverbrooks...very exciting!! bought bridesmaids gifts from there to, got them earrings

 

paid the wedding package off today to £699, productive day really

sounds like you had fun i,m not jealous (rito).i got really drunk friday and saturday so spent all day on sofa with really bad food yesterday and still feel like crap today.im getting too old.early nite i think after the grand finale of ashes to ashes.

 

you got lots done glad you sound happier.
