I love how this couple brought cut outs of their puppies with them down to Riviera Maya.

Has anyone else had any good ideas how to incorporate pets into their wedding...when its a Destination Wedding. I would really like to do something for my kitties.

Also maybe something for the Humane Society..A call out on my website or something for those who rather donate to a charity then give us a gift.

Any Idea's Ladies? Their has to be some good ideas with all the newer girls! =)

I think I will now be incorporating a lot of the ideas from this thread!  My baby was already going to be in the engagement pictures because that was honestly the only way I could convince my fiance to do them.  Our feist (like a big jack russell) will be in 1/2 the pictures where we will be wearing our rival universities' football jerseys, then we will take the other half without him in nicer clothes. I had previously seen this cake topper from a BDW bride (I am sorry I don't have the bride's name to give credit!).  The topper is from http://www.mrsclay.com/  I plan on ordering one as a surpirse for my fiance.  I think it will make a great keepsake to keep next to the sand ceremony since they will make it with a replica of your wedding attire and hair (they ask for pictures).

I love Andi's idea for the "Please Marry my Mommy" card - so I will have to do that for sure.  I also love the idea of the mini-frames for the bouquet.  With the exception of the engagement session, the other things will be a surprise for my fiance.  Thanks for all the ideas ladies - keep them coming!

These are great ideas. I wish we could have our little girl with us on our wedding day. I wanted her at the engagement photos, but it was too hot for her to be out in the sun that long. And we would have needed someone else along to keep her entertained for the mommy & daddy only pictures. She's such a baby hates being kept away from the action. I have already planned to include her in the TTD and we will certainly miss her at the ceremony.

Try Gingerbabies on esty.  http://www.etsy.com/shop/gingerbabies?ga_search_query=gingerbabies&ga_search_type=seller_usernames

She is making mine.  I only cantacted her like 1 1/2 ago and mine is going to be ready to ship tomorrow as I am in Canada so she is leaving over 2 weeks for it to get to me.  Shipping in the US won't take nearly as long.  Anyway, there was a $25 rush charge but IMO it was worth it.  I sent her pics of my FI and I and our 2 dogs and what we are wearing and she is making it all to match.  I can't wait to get it.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
