I'm also looking for alternate guest book ideas. I wanted to have a picture book and have guests sign that but I'm not doing engagement photos :(

        The fingerprint tree is awesome!!

I'm going to have our initials done in wood and painted and have people sign that.

Our wedding is really, really small.....so something small and simple!!

We were originally going to do a chalkboard + polaroid and have guests write a message on the chalkboard then take a pic of them holding it, but now I think we're going with the time capsule idea. I've seen kits on Etsy that seem expensive for what they are, so I'm making my own. Here's a pic for reference:

I still love the polaroid idea though and might bring one to get fun shots of all our guests during the wedding weekend for a scrapbook later.

For those of you having an AHR are you doing a separate guest book? Or just continuing with the one from the DW? I don't really want to do that because it might hurt people's feelings if they weren't invited down to Mexico (it's family only) but I think we're doing an engagement shoot guest book which would be awesome to fill completely up to have for years to come

Writing messages on wine bottles it's a nice idea! or what about displaying on a board, lots of small envelopes so your guest put their messages in
