Hello everyone,

My name is Shana and my fiance and I have just decided to have our wedding Dec. 2010 at the Moon Palace resort in Cancun, Mexico. Help! I have absolutely no idea what I am doing! lol

So any advice, suggestions, etc would be very helpful and appreciated.

I have tons of questions, so bear with me.

Thanks a million!

Hi and Congrats Shana.

There's an entire thread dedicated to Moon Palace. It is extremely long but seriously helpful. It's under the Rivera Maya/Cancun section (sorry I didn't think to grab the link to direct you right there). I'm also a MP bride so if you have any specific questions let me know.

i Shana,

Congrats on evrythg :)

A friend of my FI was just married at Moon Palace Jan 2010, They said they absolutly loved it!!! Im actually interest in there too!

The only bad thg they had 2 say was the weather, kinda chilly... They had to have there reception in the ballroom because of it, and couldnt really go swimming or anythg!!

Also, when booking rooms they said the resort is huge n theres 2 sides so they said make sure u tell the resort to book all of ur guest rooms 2gther on the same side:)

I have alot of info on this resort, so feel free 2 ask me!!!

TTYL,

Des

Hi Shana and welcome to the forum, as someone previously mentioned we have a thread on moon palace already, so just type in that location in the search field and you'll be on your way to planning your wedding. Best of luck to you and congrats on your engagement.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
