Milanoo, anyone??

I found a website that makes "knock-off" wedding dresses- GORGEOUS and cheap!!!!! It's Milanoo.com - Sexy Lingerie,Zentai & catsuits,Cosplay Costume,sexy shoes,mascot costume,wedding gown,fashion dress,outerwear I think they're coming from China. Has anyone heard of the site? Is it legit? Anyone ordered from there or know anyone who has?

It seems similar to Peridress. I'm all about getting a lovely dress for under $200 as long as it's legit and as nice as it seems to be.

Please share if you have any experience!!!

wow, kimmy. Those are great prices for knockoffs of course, but as you know with all internet purchases you have to be careful. The material is usually a polyester, generic sizing, and details won't be perfect. Honestly at those prices though, it almost wouldn't hurt to try. Sometimes you just luck up and find a steal!

I see they have a dress that I had my eye on that is originally $800 (without tax). I may just order it for the heck of it (although I have already purchased a gown). Thanks for the link.

Kimmy, be careful - we have heard A LOT of horrible stories about dissapointed brides who got dresses from China and they were a disaster!

I know "horror stories" exist, but what's the worst that could happen? If you don't receive the dress or it's not what you expected you can cancel the charge from your credit card. I'd go in with expectations that it won't be perfect but it might just be fabulous

There's TONS of information on "trash the dress" on the forum- basically, it's an opportunity to take all the fun pictures you could dream of, without worrying about getting your dress dirty. Some people reuse their wedding dress, others use a second (lesser expensive) dress. In most of the pictures people roll around in the sand, in the water... all the great pictures you'd love to take but would be afraid to do on your wedding day minutes before your reception! I think most people do this the day following their wedding.

There are TONS of threads on knock off sites. I've never heard of Milanoo though. I ordered my dress from a girl on ebay. She also has a website: wedding dress,prom gown and bridesmaid dress by landy bridal I paid for $190 including shipping. it will be here this week. She can make almost any dress. She can do general sizing or to your measurements. I was really hesitant, but she only sells dresses on ebay and has 1200+ feebacks w/ 100% positive feedback. i figured at $190 and that kind of feedback it was worth the risk.

 

One concern about Milanoo is that they don't have an feedback on a wedding dress.... just yoga clothes and costumes

Yes its fun pictures in the water rolling around on the sand!!!!!! Most people do them the day after but my photographer in coming from brooklyn ny so he is leaving the next day so i have no choice. So i thought that dress would work great! I will def let you all know how the dress is...
