I've been trying to chime in on this thread all week and stupid work computer was just not cooperating! sad.gif

So, married life is great!!!! It hadn't been too different from engaged life for us since we've been together 10 years and engaged/living together for 4 of them. Things do feel a little different, it a GREAT way, now that we're expecting the little addition :) Our little man is due May 30th and we coudln't be happier!

I absolutely agree with all the girls who said that you want to wait! We were getting pressure from all around and until both of us were good and ready, we weren't giving in.

This is a great thread, I enjoy reading all these posts!

Married life for us is completely different from before. We dated for over 2 1/2 years and then we were engaged for 9 months and I didn't move in with him until 1 week before the wedding. So, adjusting to the new living situation was hard. We got on each other's last nerve about a month after the wedding (and thank you to those of you who made me feel better when I posted a thread about it!). But, after we talked everything out and learned to live together, everything got a lot better! I really do love married life and I couldn't imagine my life any differently. I got pregnant about 1 1/2 months after the wedding, so we are both very excited about our little boy which will be arriving early August.

Besides that, we are still looking for a house because so far everything we have put an offer on has been a short-sale and we decided NEVER to deal with those again!! They are a PAIN IN THE ASS!! So, it's crunch time because we want to be able to move in to a new house before the baby's arrival and with enough time to get the house ready. So, we are keeping our fingers crossed that we find something soon!

Katrina he is so cute! I bet you can't wait to see him!!

Not much has changed for me. I have put all my energy into our new house and TTC. Now that I am pregnant, I don't have much energy so that is great lol.

I also bought a camera and am trying to learn how to use it before the little Pumpkin gets here.

I am pretty boring.

Thanks! I got a Nikon D300. It is a little more camera than I needed buy Dh didn't want to get one then have me outgrow it in a year. It's a big investment. I need to start using it more. I have just been too exhausted lately to want to do anything.

Aw, I miss all you guys. I joined the forum before you were all married so I feel more connected with you than the newer girls. I miss seeing Rachel and Maura and Glenda around too. I was starting to think that marriage just took people away! I'm loving this thread Erin and I will be able to post on it without breaking the rules in just over 2 months!

I'm an auntie too!!! Jason Stanley arrived happy and healthy last week. I don't have any decent pictures, but everyone says he's adorable. He was a c-section baby so no squashed melon.

This is number 12 for me (no joke - 9 on my side and 3 on DHs). I have enough for a football team, plus a backup quarterback.

Maybe I'll design my team a logo!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
