I have been to a bunch of weddings where this song was used for the cake cutting. It's very cute.

Since Brendan and I call each other "dawg" (as in homey, g-money, street talk terms of endearment) we're going to use "Who let the Dogs out" by the Baha Men for our introduction.

As for the Processional, I love the suggestions on here. Has anyone thought of Rainbow Connection from the Muppet Movie? I had a friend that used Sunrise, sunset when she walked down the aisle. She also used "Storybook story" from The Princess Bride soundtrack as her first dance. I think we're going to use either "You and I" by Celine Dion or "100 Years" by Five for Fighting for our first dance.

I love all the other ideas on here for the Recessional. Beautiful Day, I'm a Believer, Signed Sealed Delivered I'm Yours. So many good ones to choose from.

I just discovered Katie Melua. I heard this song "When you taught me how to dance" from the Miss Potter soundtrack (YouTube - Katie Melua) and thought I thought it might be a nice song for a father-daughter dance. I looked for it on YouTube and found some others that are

really pretty and might be suitable for some part of a wedding (website music, photo slideshow music, first dance, recessional)

I thought I had my processional and recessional all figured out, but I changed it like two days before our wedding.

I ended up going with "Baby I'm Amazed" by Paul McCartney for the processional and "Here Comes the Sun" by George Harrison for the recessional.

Since they are both Beatles' members songs, I thought they tied together nicely and I think it turned out really well.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
