My Colors....I need help

Recommended Posts

I think I just need to go to the linen store and mix and match til I get it right.

Honestly, I was fine with just the 2 colors, but then she freaked me out with the whole "in" thing....She is planning my wedding for free and she is the expert and I know she was just trying to be helpful. Afterall, this is not a $60,000 wedding in Austin. Who cares what is "in," right?!

I don't think any of this made sense! ha!

I'm also doing a fuschia color, I thought about doing tiffany blue as well, but I go back and work between these two colors together, or just the fuschia and white, I can't make up my mind. I agree with the others though, I think all three of those colors is too much.

I personally like one main color and then a second color just for a "pop" So, I guess my suggestion would be to stick with the tiffany blue as your main accent color, and then add the bright pink for a pop. I've also seen a wedding where every table was a different, coordinating color. It sounds hideous, but it turned out beautiful. But, more importantly..it's your wedding, go with your gut!

oh that's an idea, why not add a very neutral color like chocolate, you could even have a chocolate cake with pink flowers! now brown is actually the in Color right now

I think my colors will be the blue, pink, and green. Although, the green will mostly be brought through in the stems of the flowers! Ha! But, i love those colors together. To me, it adds to the tropical feel.

I was actually going to suggest using the tiffany blue, hot pink with Chocolate brown.

Very trendy and "in"colors.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
