Now I plan on completely blindsiding my FI. We're switching the garter thing up. As far as Eric knows, he's wearing a blindfold and has to put the garter ON instead of taking it off. But what he'll be very very surprised to find out is that as soon as the blindfold is on, I am so out of that chair and the Best man is taking my place. I already secretly talked with the Best Man and he agreed to do it. He'll be barefoot, and rolling his pant leg up to his knee. I wonder how long it'll take before Eric figures out the switch XD I surely hope he doesn't think the hairy leg belongs to me though haha

My sister even told me to go as far as make the best man come out in this cheap wedding dress too to make it more believable for the groom(when he feels the dress), but I said no. Besides, all that laughter when the Best Man steps out in the getup would probably tip off the FI. =/

These are all great btw! I've had the giggle fits the whole way through lol I'm still not finished reading all of these posts, but I had to add this before i finish. I'll write my worst wedding attendance ever when I get to the last post =]

Ok here is the bride from the back. Talk about ridic. Seriously this women has THIRTEEN KIDS and was married before. You aren't fooling anyone with that white dress.

Oh and while I was looking for pics I noticed that all the ones of her didn't come out!! LOL Its like my camera was rejecting wrinkles or something lol. I tried to brighten it so you could see her, but you'd really have to see her in person to understand the full comedy of it.

lol too funny! The best part is knowing the grandchildren ran from the garter! I could so picture the brave grandson that finally picked it up with an annoyed look. That sounds like so many people I know. Love the story and the anti-wrinkle camera! haha

Rachel, if you're going to hell I don't even want to know what's going to happen to me lol. We were dying of laughter through out the whole ceremony. Anyone sitting behind us could just see our shoulders bouncing up and down lol. But seriously, my grandfather from my mom's side was there as well and even he thought it was ridic. Anyways, hope you all got a good laugh out of that.

      Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!

      Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else.
