Hi Nina - I am actually going down next week to do a site inspection of our wedding location. I found a photographer (Elizabeth Lloyd) who lives between Puerto Vallarta and Sayulita. She is meeting us and might take some pre-photos :) Ill let you know how it goes - she has been great through emails so far!

Alexandra84,

Thanks so very much! I just looked at Elizabeth Lloyd's website and her work looks amazing.

As crazy as it seems,we have never even been to Sayulita. We have friends that were married there and have seen pictures and have heard such amazing things that after looking at the Villa Amor website we fell in love with it too. We are visiting in May and hope to nail down everything we need to by then. If you have any other info or ideas I would love to hear about it. I really appreciate the name of the photographer. I'm going to email her today and see if she is available.

Have a wonderful trip!

Nina

Hi Nina -

We just got back from Punta Mita yesterday - it was absolutely beautiful! We got to meet with Elizabeth (Beth) and she was awesome. We are so excited to have found a local, female, photographer who we know will do a great job. She is going to do a TTD session in Sayulita with us.

As for other vendors, we are doing most everything through the Four Seasons. However, I have been in contact with Naef Cuisine :: A Taste of the Good Life! for a rehearsal dinner catorer. They are a catoring company out of Sayulita.

Good luck with everything - and let me know if you need anything else!

Hello!! I am getting married in Sayulita as well in November! I am curious to know the best way to work with Villa Amor as I want to recommend it to my guests but they are not emailing me back at all!

Maybe we can chat over private message?

I would also like to know where your rehearsal dinner is!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
