Congrats Andi! Now are you really going to be able to keep this a secret from everyone else?
I didnt want to tell anyone but FI (I decided that is what I am going to continue to call him until our legal day wink.gif )came home yesterday and said he had called his mom to tell her! WTF?! So now I will have to tell my parents too so they don't feel left out. I wanted to keep it a complete secret though so that we didn't start to get people saying stuff like "well if you are already married why are we going to mexico?!" As far as I am concerned the real wedding is the Mexico one!

Yadeira is coming out next weekend and I'm hoping I can convince Ben to get married while she's here. I don't think he'll go for it (we still have 3 months!).

Congrats girl!
oh that would be fun! will she be going to mexico? if not then that gives you even more of a case to have the legal day when she is there! let me know what happens!

Andi we did that too! Ours was pre planned and we had the whole day planned from landing in vegas, going to the little wedding DMV (that is what it seemed like) going to a buffet, getting married, going back to our shitty room at the strat, consumating, and then going to a nice dinner.

There was something so special about doing it privately and no one in the world knowing we were doing it, it made it really special, and it did not take anything away from our real day. We stll will celbrate our anniv on 7/13 even though our PV wedding was 12/28. Congrats Andi!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
