Okay, a little back story first, in 2004 I weighed 300 pounds....I'm only 5'1, so you can imagine how unproportional I looked. At this point I had had it with being fat and decided to do something about it. I tried for months with no success to loose weight. My boyfriend at the time introduced me to a doctor. She is this crazy Russan lady....but that is besides the point. Anywho...after going to this doctor a little over a year I lost 150 pounds and I was beginning to be happy with myself. The only thing I wasn't happy with was the relationship I was it...again besides the point. I ditched the dude and found my FI. I was able to keep all of the weight off without the help of the doctor and the meds for 9 months and that is when FI and I found out we were pregnant and I gained 100 pounds of the stupid weight back. Well, our son is now 16 months old and I set aside money so that I could go back to my fat doctor. Well, I started my meds on Monday and I went in for my first weigh in and I lost 6 pounds in less then a week. I am so happy, I might just reach my goal of loosing that 100 pounds by 05.05.10. Just wanted to share my exciting news with everybody on here.

That is incredible news! Congrats on the weight loss! However, I have to say unless your pics are really outdate, 100 would be WAY too much weight to lose! I know we always waant to lose more then other think, but I think you are gorgeous. Either way, I think a positive attitude is a HUGE plus when trying to get a healthier outlook on life.

Congratulations!!!! Its so exciting isn't it! 6 years ago I weighed 210 and I'm 5'1" I was also fed up so I started really working out and changed my eating habits. Well I mostly just road my bike everywhere. I was averaging 14 miles a day and it felt so good! I got down to my goal of 124lbs. Then I met FI and spent more time w/ him tha exercise an began to gain. I went up to 146lbs but I still felt great about myself. Then i got pregnant. I actually did really well and only gained 27lbs. Thank God for you girls and BL5 cause I'm making an effort to back to 124lbs.

I must admit the worst thing about losing weight is when you gain some back all you can think about was when you were smaller. It's easier when you were never that small! HA! Keep it up! We're all rooting for you!!!

The picture to the left under my name was taken right before I got pregnant with Wyatt, December 2007 and I weighed about 145-150. And the picture in my siggy is while I was pregnant with him in June/July 2008 and weighed about 175.

After I had Wyatt I was about 200 pounds and instead of the weight falling off I gained it. At my first doctor's visit on 02.27.09 I weighed 249.5.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
