Wearing dress for AHR?

Recommended Posts

I know there's another thread about this somewhere, but I wanted to do a poll. Those of you who are having AHRs, are you going to wear your wedding dress again? We are having 2 AHRs, one in his hometown and one in mine. My friends and mom tell me I should wear my dress again because they loved it and they all wish they could have worn their's more than once, but now I'm thinking it might be a little weird? What are you guys doing?

No, I'll wear a white dress still, but something more casual probably. Maybe a cotton dress. Mine is also a Bon Voyage... but I think even if it was afterwards I still wouldn't wear the dress. I dunno, theres soemthing to me about wearing it twice... or maybe it's just the fact that I get to buy two!!

Hmmm, IF I were to have an AHR I don't think I would wear my wedding dress again. BUT with that said, that's only because I would have an AHR, BBQ type thing, very casual. If your having a more formal AHR then I say "why not"

I voted yes... A lot of people who couldn't make it to the wedding will be there, so I plan to wear my dress for the AHR at least for a little while. I think I'll change eventually.

But, I'm kinda up in the air, because I want to be more comfortable than wearing my big weding dress.

okay, so change my vote to a maybe.....I guess I'm undecided....sorry, no help sad.gif

If I were, I'd totally wear it! Heck yes! Any piece of clothing that you love that much should never be worn only once!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
