Okay, so I recieved this rough quote today from Laura. I'm still trying to decide on either the Hilton or PB Sunset Beach. I also got a quote from Carolina also, btw. Anyhoo--Do these prices seem exhorbitant? $10K for 20ppl, is that reasonable?? It seems high to me, (& it doesn't even include dinner because I hadn't chosen the menu yet) but of course this is only the first quote. Any thoughts?? Should I just hire all my own vendors? $2K for the wedding package seems a bit much for what they are including. Here it is:

I am getting married at Pueblo Bonito Sunset Beach May 23, 2009 - YAY!!!. I must tell you - We did our site visit back in January and fell in love with the place - and our WC Laura. She is AWESOME and so great to work with. Everything has been done via email, I have changed my mind 500 times, and every time she responds quickly and in detail with everything I want. She is a complete joy to work with - I was so hesitant doing destination wedding and have heard horror stories about trying to communicate with the WC. Not Laura. Not to mention the hotel grounds are gorgeous, food great- staff friendly. We CAN NOT wait to get married there in 2 months! She never told us NO. Anything we want - she gets for us!

 

And on your wedding day - you can be assured you are the ONLY wedding going on that day and all the focus is on you and your special day..

Well, you've certainly done your homework, I see, my, my, my!, so much info and that will help other brides for sure. All I can say is that doing this kind of leg work will surely cut prices for you. Believe me, your dollars will do the walking for you
