Ok well I was keeping it a secret but I already posted about it on here anyways so...I gave up smoking for lent! It has been 1 week and 3 days! I had one relapse but it tasted so disgusting that I *think* I am done!! Well at least until I decide to have a glass of wine LOL j/k!!

Good luck w/ giving up everything - it is HARD!! But I guess that's the point LOL

I gave up sweets. Sweets are totally my weakness, so it has been hard. I have been substituting what I normally eat for dessert - after every meal - cookies, chocolate, ice cream, cupcakes, etc...with vanilla yogurt and granola, or grapes, or some other flavor of yogurt. It has been hard, but I'm really ready to get rid of my crazy sweet tooth.

I gave up soft drinks when I was in college and I thought I was never going to be able to stay awake all day - kind of scary! But I have not drank soft drinks (other than every once in a while I have a Shirley Temple haha) since, so it can lead to better health!!

      Good luck to everyone!!

            M&M 's... MR. GOODBAR...

Sweets are what I gave up. Every time I pass a finding machine or checkout at the store I'm tempted.

Starting to go crazy... but I'm going to make it.

i SHOULD have given up eating all together hence the fact that ive gained at least 15-20 lbs. i know this b/c i tried on a blk dress of mine that i wore a year and 1/2 ago and its snug as a rug and at least 2 sizes too small. if i would have tried it on in the store and it fit me this way, i would have went up a size or 2. the fact that i am going to maui in 2 months makes me ill. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

but anyway to answer your ?, i gave up cursing and being a b*tch to joe, and to try and have more sex with him. im doing good with the no cursing so far ;o)

Hey girls! How is everyone doing with their Lent promises I am proud to say I have not drank coffeee once... although I have almost mistakenly done it several times! It seems like you guys gave up way harder/more important stuff than I did... I hope you're all doing well!!! It's almost over :)
