Ok well I was keeping it a secret but I already posted about it on here anyways so...I gave up smoking for lent! It has been 1 week and 3 days! I had one relapse but it tasted so disgusting that I *think* I am done!! Well at least until I decide to have a glass of wine LOL j/k!!

Good luck w/ giving up everything - it is HARD!! But I guess that's the point LOL

I gave up sweets. Sweets are totally my weakness, so it has been hard. I have been substituting what I normally eat for dessert - after every meal - cookies, chocolate, ice cream, cupcakes, etc...with vanilla yogurt and granola, or grapes, or some other flavor of yogurt. It has been hard, but I'm really ready to get rid of my crazy sweet tooth.

I gave up soft drinks when I was in college and I thought I was never going to be able to stay awake all day - kind of scary! But I have not drank soft drinks (other than every once in a while I have a Shirley Temple haha) since, so it can lead to better health!!

Good luck to everyone!!

i SHOULD have given up eating all together hence the fact that ive gained at least 15-20 lbs. i know this b/c i tried on a blk dress of mine that i wore a year and 1/2 ago and its snug as a rug and at least 2 sizes too small. if i would have tried it on in the store and it fit me this way, i would have went up a size or 2. the fact that i am going to maui in 2 months makes me ill. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

but anyway to answer your ?, i gave up cursing and being a b*tch to joe, and to try and have more sex with him. im doing good with the no cursing so far ;o)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
