Could someone also email me pricing info for Dream PV if I pm you? I will be staying there and am waivering between having my wedding off site at Las Caletas or Dreams PV. The real problem is that I am not getting any response from the resort and I have sent 3 emails in about a month in a half requesting info. I'm starting to get stressed because I feel I can't make a decision on Las Caletas until I see what my options for Dreams PV are. Also, perhaps someone can post an email address that is more direct that the general one on their website. Does such a website exist?

Only input I have is I'm staying there. I tried to contact them repeatedly about hosting a WD but they didn't get back to me for awhile. About a month after my many efforts I got a generic email and it just irked me because for the amount of money they probably charge I would have liked more consideration. The location is awesome though and if you can deal with sporadic information it may be worth it for you.

Are you doing the "free" wedding or which package did you choose? Which ceremony and reception location?

 

I think Joe fell in love with this resort. He loves how it's tucked away in a little cove. This is the first time that he's actually been proactive in gathering information on the resort and reading up on it. I'm was shocked/impressed/in awe! The WC sounds like she might be similiar to DR WC so I've already wrapped my head around planning most of it on site... soooo we'll see what happens! I have a feeling this might be it I hope anyway.

Yes, I am doing the free wedding package and adding on to it. I may just do the i-pod set up instead of hiring a dj. I do want a trio to play during the coctail hour but since I spent a huge amount on my photographer, Im not sure. I think I am going with the gazebo for the ceremony and the poolside for the reception. What are your thoughts?

I like the beach for the ceremony since that's what we've always envisioned. Especially since Dreams is all tucked away it will be nice not to have tons of other people around - hopefully anyway. For the reception I really like that restaurant area that is built into the rocks and right by the water. I'm not sure what restaurant that is yet..

 

Also, can you do beach bonfires? That would totally be fun too!

Another question for you Chantall - are you using a WC outside the hotel? I was looking at the Dazzling Details pics from Dreams and it looks so great!!
