Anyone else obsessed with AI?

I loved Paula's dancing... I think she's a great choreographer... but I really hated how obvious it was that she was lip synching. That sucked. Especially because she was breathing so heavily after the performace (well duh, did you see that chick dance?). But it made it that much MORE obvious!

 

As for today... today is Danny Gokey day here in Milwaukee! it's ridiculous!! So fun and exciting! Sadly, i'm at work... yeah, that sucks. But it's still fun to listen to everything and watch it on TV!

I thought Paula's performance was ridiculous. I laughed at her more than anything. I'm not a huge Paula fan (like modern day Paula) so she probably didn't get a fair shake with me. I agree that she danced great- looked great, but she's suppose to be SINGING. It was WAY too obvious that she was lip syncing. It was almost like she didn't even try to look like she was singing. Oh well... Britney Spears does it all the time too, but no one really calls her a true artist either. More of an entertainer.

 

As for No Doubt, I was really excited to see them perform. I love them and I hope I can catch them on tour. I haven't looked to see what cities they are at yet. Gwen did look a little tired, but she just had babies. She's excused. I did think her performance blew Paula out of the water though.

Oh agreed No doubt blew Paula out of the water. I mean I liked Paulas song and of course she looks great for her age. But I honestly didn't think she was that good of a dancer. Her dancers were good though. Joe and I were saying we thought she was trying to be like Michael Jackson and failing. She's sooooo dumb on the judges panel 85% of the time I couldn't take that woman serious if I really really really tried. She's more of a cheerleader. Did anyone see her cheerleading show on Mtv?

Hahahaah, Michael Jackson and failing! My FI described Paula's performance as "Britney Spears in 30-40 years". I didn't catch her MTV cheerleading show but I'm sure she was the right person for it!

HAHA! Joe and I were singing all the songs too from Guitar Hero!

 

Her cheerleading show was pretty lame! She was definitely the right person. We only saw it cause our Universities cheerleaders made it on the show w/ our AMAZING mascot! Our team made it to the final 2 teams. I know a couple of the cheerleader and they said Paula was an absolute crazy lady!

I think Paula's performance was amazing. I mean it would be nice if she didn't lip sync, but it would be almost impossible for her to sing while dancing like that. For being in her mid-forties, she really looked great out there. She deserves mad props. No wonder she's in pain all the time. I probably would be too if I tried to move like that!

Gwen looked good too, but it definitely sounds like she's out of practice. They're coming here in June, so I think I might go see me some No Doubt.

I am kinda in shock that Kris beat out Adam!!!! Adam is so the better singer and much more FUN to watch!

 

This is my theory...and just my thoughts on it....Adam was just too "different" for America. Hey I have totally nothing against him...but um, did anyone else notice that he had rhinestones lining his bottom lashes when he was singing with Kiss?! I admit it was kinda cool...def. looked good on TV BUT my guess is that MOST of America is NOT ok with that type of thing. Just my thought...I was rooting for Adam to win!
