No wedding party

With a DW you can do what ever feels right to you. I wanted none, but my FI wanted a few, so we comprimised and I chose my sister and BFF, he is having 3 close friends. It feels just right. All of our friends who are attending are honorary BMs and GMs as they would have been standing up with us if we had a traditional at home wedding.

I've seen it done both ways. I personally didn't have a wedding party, but that's because we only had 6 guests attend the wedding. Anything goes when you have a DW, do as little or as much as you want to. I've seen big poofy dresses and sun dresses as wedding day attire, again it's all up to you. It will be great regardless. :-)

We're just having my sister (MOH) and her husband (who happens to be my FI's Best friend) as the BM so it works out perfectly. The only thing is i have a brother too and i was feeling bad not having him be involved but he said as long as he can wear the same thing as the BM he was ok with that. He's nuts- but it made me feel better :)

I would not worry about it, I have the same situation, I have 2 he has 3. I think 2 guys will just walk down the one girl, she be like pimp of the day :)

Geez...you all are putting me to shame!! I'm not having a wedding party OR guests!! Our ceremony will be a vow renewals for us and our First wedding ceremony. Been married 20 years so not really needing sheets and toasters! We want this to be ALL ABOUT US... Not to mention I can't deal with the stress any of the elements of a traditional wedding

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
