Jillian Harris is the new Bachelorette!!

i thought it was so scripted when reid came back and jillian acted like she couldn't make up her mind. give me a break - if she really was in love, she wouldn't have been so distressed about her decision. ed bugs me but i am curious to see what happens on the final rose show tonight & how they act together. they are also going to be on good morning america & live with regis tomorrow am (for all those bachelorette junkies out there... i'm setting up my tivo).

 

my sister's co-worker went to high school & is good friends with kiptyn. she said he acted really jilted when he came home from the show, so she had a feeling he wasn't picked. and she says now that he is acting as if he has something big planned, so i really do think he's the next bachelor!! i wonder if they'll announce it tonight!!

hmm interesting Jen, thanks for the scoop. My mom said she also has heard around San Diego that he's actually a great guy and would be a good bachelor.

 

Although I am kinda tired of the runner up being on the show, however I think it helps the ratings when the audience already knows the person. The last couple of times they did a new person the ratings weren't as good.

Btw girls, Reid was the one who called the producers and asked to come back to try to get Jillian. He didn't want to propose, but he did want a chance to tell her how he felt and be with her. The producers told him the only way he could come back was if he proposed.

 

And Kiptyn is a really nice guy. Like, what you see is what you get from him.

LAAAAAAAME. Those damn Bachelor / Bachelorette producers seem to like messing with us by causing drama with the contestants.

 

I think they forget that they are toying with REAL ppl!

It was stupid I thought. This is the only season I was like watching and than once it was over I felt I wasted my time.

Christine, it was like almost all other after the final rose specials. Melissa from last season was there to say she is doing well and engaged. She said what you'd expect her to say. Kypton and Reid were both out and talked to Jillian and it was awkward as expected. Jillian and Ed were on the last 15 or so minutes and did a lot of kissing and cuddling. They really seem in love and said they've been together since the proposal all but 5-6 days. They have a summer of family events planned and then she will be moving in with him in September. Ed said they plan to marry within the next 12 months!

Ed and Jillian seem truly happy together, hopefully it will last....

 

On another note, did anyone else notice Melissa'a new face? It definately looks like she got some botox, lip injections and and eye lift...

She did look different! I wonder what she had done...

And what was with Reid's comment about not wanting to bring up certain things like the fantasy suite? The whole audience ooooo'd and aahhhh'd and Jillian looked scared that he was going to say more?
