I've always felt that Kate wanted to make it work & it was (& still is) Jon being the jerk! I wonder though if he doesn't have some ulterior motive for trying to halt the divorce. I don't know what that motive could be, but I do know that starting on Nov 2nd the show will be just "Kate plus 8", so maybe he's trying to get back on the show or maybe he just wants to continue to reap the rewards of Kate working so hard doing all those signings & appearances. Who knows, I just don't really like the guy, nor do I trust him much (maybe that's just the way the media wants us to feel about him.) He has just acted like such a jerk since all this came out. I can't see Kate being very forgiving after he has flaunted ALL these girls in front of her face.

Christine I just saw this too & immediately thought that this is crazy. How is he now suddenly "regretting his conduct"? And now he wants to "regain control over the future of our family"? Yeah right...All the interviews he did bashing Kate & flaunting his newfound relationships & girlfriend...Puhleeze....Forgive me if I'm wrong but I think this is all too coincidental considering that TLC is moving on without him in Kate Plus Eight!

 

I only hope that the kids aren't scarred for life from this situation, especially since its playing out in the media.

The whole situation is completely ridiculous. I feel bad for the kiddies regardless. What a f'ed up childhood to grow up in. We'll never know the real story behind either Jon or Kate, only the media spin on them.

Anyone see the latest? Jon emptied the bank account (withdrew $230,000), leaving Kate with $1000 to pay for bills & take care of the kids, WTF? What a douche!!! The more I hear about him, the more I dislike him. He always acts like he has his kids best interest at heart, so what's his excuse for taking all the money out the bank account that is suppose to put a roof over their heads, put food on their table & clothes on their backs? He has also put a halt on production of the show, stating that his kids don't want to be filmed anymore; hmmmm convienent, seeing that he was just removed from the show last week, leaving it to be "Kate Plus Eight." I wish Kate luck in dealing with this ass in a divorce!

Who would have thought that he would end up being the bad guy in all this. I saw Kate on the Today Show this morning, and it really is heartbreaking. Only leaving her with $1000 to take care of all those kids... ridiculous!
