I think it depends on where you land with your dress. I think the first dress is a little too formal for that casual of a BM dress. I think it would look cute next to the second dress you have listed, though.

I have to agree with those who say it might not be flattering. It also looks like it would make for some uncomfortable photos if the wrong breeze blew by, because of the length and the weight of the material.

I have not read what anyone else posted yet, but I thought I would toss in my 2 cents and then read the thread :) I do not think the dresses are too casual at all, its your wedding, they should be what you love and the girls like and that is all that matters.

The only thing I think is an issue is that this dress does not look flattering, it looks like a maternity dress to me. I am a little sensitive because I just got over being pregnant, but it looks like a dress I had. The rouching at the top in the front will make it go out at the stomach and make the girls look pregnant, so you might want to keep that in mind, I would not be very happy if I had to wear a dress that made me look like I was expecting, unless of course they are, then that would be a great choice.

I am going to stick my neck out there a wee bit!

1st, your wedding is too far to be searching out BM dresses - We ended up with 2 different BM dresses because we planned too far in advacnce... the stress and drama is not worth it.

.... that being said, at that price point I think they are cute - and wouldn't personally care about having to get another dress at a later date.....

Secondly, You should have your dress before you pick BM dresses - this is key to putting together the look you want, You need to LOVE LOVE LOVE your bridal gown, whether it is fancy or casual - originally i thought I wanted casual, and fell in love with mine after... then the BM dresses needed to coordinate....

Don't put the cart before the horse!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
