Is this bridesmaid dress to casual

Recommended Posts

I need some help. I saw these dresses at Old Navy on the weekend and I can't get them out of my head lol. the guys are wearing linen long sleeve shirts from Old Navy in choc. brown and light beige linen pants. FI is wearing a white shirt. I am still undecided on my dress. My question is - Is this dress to informal. I am thinking parasols instead of flowers

I am thinking of a goddess style dress for me. I saw one on the Davids Bridal site that I love its a Galina Signature

I would say that if the girls hair is done up nicely and they are carrying flowers... it'll look just perfect. I think they are really casual, but that's part of the fun with getting married on the beach, there are no rules!

I agree too. :)

Also, I almost got the 2nd DB dress that you posted. I loved it and keep thinking about it as a possible TTD dress.

well altho i do think they are very cute, its a long ways off until your wedding! what if the girls sizes change between now and then? you wouldnt be able to buy new ones because old navy's stock changes so often.

and what if you found something you like better? lots of new styles in the next 2 yrs :)

i guess if worse comes to worse they could just be like matching rehearsal dresses or something, cause the price is certainly right!

I think they would work for DW BM dresses...but warning: I tried that dress on last week and it was not flattering IMHO. Im a "small" at old navy and I even tried on a medium to see if that helped and it didnt. Unless your BMs are super naturally thin (no curves, no boobs, etc), I would have them try it on first!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
