so let me rephrase...check with your photog if it's something they offer. mine does and I just assumed so did everyone elses!!

I chose my photographer specifically because she doesn't do much airbrushing. She definitely processes the photos and edits them, but her look is very clean and natural, AND very flattering to women IMO. I wanted to look like me in my photos. Well, me with a few things ironed out, lol wink.gif

I am not over weight by any means but I do have a lot of cellulite to be honest on the legs...Did any of you guys do anything to really tighten up before your shoots?

Any advice would be great. I tried on wedding dresses today and it was a rather humbing experience =( In the magizes they look like they all fits so easly!

I agree with everyone else. Don't let this stop you!! Your FI loves YOU and won't see anything imperfect in the pictures. He'll love them!!!!!

- i've also got a white feather boa....not too sure about using this yet, but i did see someone's photos the other day and they used one for topless shots so will probably use it for that

then I also want to get a black corset top...I have the stockings, and fish net stockings, and black lace french knickers.

I have heels and my BF who's coming with me has a pair of suede thigh high boots which look the nuts!

any other ideashuh.gif!!

oh and I need shoes to go with my bridal lingerie!! arrghhh!

Love the outfits! The suede thigh highs will look fantastic!!!

I thought I'd share my outfits:

- wedding night lingerie, white lace everything! bra, thong, garter belt, stockings. I threw in some black high heels for the pics. We did some shots with my veil, and some topless with long strands of pearls.

- black lace panties, black high heels, black birdcage veil (my photog brought this). Also topless and with long strands of pearls.

- hot pink lingerie. kinda like a teddy but skin-tight.

The one thing I forgot to pack was a white tank top. My FI loves the look of me wearing just that. In my hurry to secretly pack I spaced it. Oh well, he'll never know I meant to bring it!

I was worried about needing shoes to match my wedding night lingerie, but my photog convinced me that using the black ones I already have would be just fine. Great b/c it saved me $$!

It's all the, "Come on, arch your back a little bit more, no more, no more, no more. Okay now hold that!" lol.
HAHAHA! Yes I said that! I think I was sore for like 2 days too... I was like, jeez I thought I was in shape... my photo shoot was 4 hours long too, I was in pain (and quite tipsy) by the end.

How long was your shoot?

Yes it was you that said that!!! I feel the same way, I'm in shape but damn I hurt, lol!

My sister came with me and she got really drunk off the mimosas we brought. I didn't have enough time to drink b/c we were on a time crunch. My shoot was supposed to be 2 hours but my makeup lady was 1/2 hour late so we only got 1.5 hours. OMG 4 hours!!!! I can't imagine. I don't think I would be able to move today if mine had lasted that long. But lucky you, you must have gotten amazing shots with that amount of time! I'll bet your book is a sight to behold with all the personal touches you put in it! Lucky FI :)

HAHA!! You're sister got drunk and you didn't even drink! That must have been amusing for you at least :)

Man, as soon as I got to my photogs house he said hello and then said he'd be right back... came back with a double Patron. We weren't on any sort of time crunch since we were at my photogs house and my MOH and I had about 4 drink/smoke breaks so it was more leisurely. I was pretty buzzed and starving at the end of that one, especially having to drive the 45 miles back home.

Thanks, I hope the book comes out awesome! I'm seriously dying to see some teasers of you with your awesome setting!

No I wish!!! I kinda like the diva glam of the Houston place, I liked your photographer too and now I am torn. I am thinking I need to save $ for the wedding photographer and just do the boudoir AFTER the wedding instead

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
