I know this may seem like a dumb question but what do you do with your soaked dress after the TTD photo shoot? We are at the resort for another week after we get married so I could likely dry it out... Has anyone done it allready and what did you do with it afterward? Thanks!

If you're short on time you could probably dry it out in the sun and it would take hardly time at all. Some resorts have overnight drycleaning services too, so you could look into that.

That's my plan ... give it a "shower" to rinse off the salt/sand and let it hang in the washroom for a few days. But we're there for another week after our wedding so we have a bit more time...

I did my trash the dress on Saturday morning (we got home after lunch) and we left Monday morning. I wouldn't say it was COMPLETELY dry (due to humidity) but it was dry enough to shove in a garbage bag, which I brought from home, and shove that into my OOT bag supplies empty luggage!

I simply gave it a shower and then hung it up in the closet with some towels below it.

We did ours on Sunday, I rinsed it in the shower and hung it up over the jacuzzi tub. On Wednesday I was able to shake the last of the sand out of it cause it was completely dry (which I was surprised cause it is a heavy lace dress). I packed it up that day in the garment bag I brought it down in and it was good to go. If you are in a rush, the sun would probably be a good option in speeding up the drying time.

Ok this is kind of random - but does anyone else see my post as the first post on here (not irishmatrimony's, who originally started the thread)??

After I replied, my post moved to the top of my screen and it's still there for me..
