From what I am experiencing now...your body is use to running and is no longer going to react. You need to shock it by doing other cardio activity. Cardio classes are really best...IMO.

The best way to get results is to combine cardio with strength training. You want to change fat into lean muscle, and the only way to do that is through strength/resistance training. A lot of "skinny" people have high body fat %. Strength training will not "bulk" you up (unless you are on some specialized diet) when combine with cardio. Lean muscle mass actually takes up less space than fat, so as you change fat into muscle you will lose inches. Combine that with fat burning cardio workouts and you'll really see results (diet of course is very important..if not the most important element). Strength training, and the resulting increase in lean muscle mass, will also boost your overall metabolism. Cardo boosts your metabolism while in the act, and for about 30-60 minutes afterwards, but then it readjusts.

Wow, thanks for the detailed advice. I am actually starting a strength training class today. How many times do you advise I do strength training? the class I am going to is twice a week but I can always do things on my own.

I greately appreciate everyone's advise!

That was some really good advice. I get really bored when I am doing strength training, but you are totally right. You will get lean. I need to combine my running and swimming and then weights. I really dislike weights. Thanks for the info.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
