CANADIAN OOT BAG info...where to shop!

Recommended Posts

You could try weddingstar.ca I know they had fans, but not sure about parasols. I think there are some on Oriental Trading as well that were reasonalby priced ( I know it is USD there, but with the exchange being so good now and shipping not bad...).

I'm finally done!!! I've added a pack of fresh mint Tic Tac's to each bag. I'm buying the actual bags (to put the stuff in) once we get there, for that authentic touch, and an added bonus, I don't have to pack it... he he he

3 cheers for me!! cheer2.gif

Thanks!! It sure feels good to get this out of the way. I managed to get them all in a carry-on sized luggage. My sister said she would take it down for me and bring the empty suitcase back. Now I just have to photocopy the receipts & bring the originals with me.

Hi!!

I am bringing a ton of stuff down to Cabo and I was wondering if anyone has heard of anyone having problems getting OOT bag stuff into Mexico. I understand that there is a $300 limit and that we should bring receipts. I was planning on splitting everything between 5 people. Is it safe to photocopy the receipt give a copy to each person who is bringing stuff down??

This is a great thread for us Canadian girls!

I would think your plan is fine...that is what i am doing and making sure that the people carrying this stuff are on the same flight we are. That way if they have a problem with the photocopies, customs can find me and I will have the originals. I hope we are all worrying about this far more than we need to!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
