Yes you can! I have done it a few times - no problems at all. You can also use your membership to fill up gas at the cheaper pumps while you're at the US Costco too :)

What we save by filling up on gas down there makes our trip worth it alone. We love going to the States, it saves us probably 40-50% on groceries.

This thread has given me some great ideas over the past few months and, even though my wedding is over a year away, I think I'm almost done shopping -- except for things with expiry dates, like Advil.

I spotted these items at Michaels this week. Most of it was in the $1.50 bins at the front of the store, near the registers, but there were also items in the bins near the back. I contemplated some other items, like eye masks, but managed to resist.

Waterproof cosmetic bag (holds 1 litre): $5 [for bridal party only]

Matching compact mirror: $3 [for bridal party only]

            Manicure set: $1.50

            Flower bath bombs: $1.50

Initial luggage tags (come in different colours/patterns): $3 [for bridal party only]

            Notebooks: $3.00 [for bridal party]

            Magnetic notepads: $1.50

I've purchased sewing kits, playing cards and lint rollers from Dollar Tree, but considering they're items are usually $1.25, I've been "splurging" for the $1.50 bins at Michaels. I've also grabbed individual boxed playing card sets, seashell-shaped bath bombs and "vanilla sand" hand lotion from there so far.

I got the luggage tags as well!  Such a great find!  I opted for the sleeping masks and the nail files that say relax and restore on them!  Thought they were cute!

I know what you mean, I spend far too much time lately browsing their aisles. Too many good ideas for little gifts!

AtoZ....I JUST purchased those make-up bags for my bridesmaids today. Although they are cream and pink (my wedding colours)...I also got them the eye masks and matching manicure sets. I felt like I splurged on those for them, but they are worth it! :)

                    Alright ladies!

I am taking a trip to the U.S. this weekend to look for some OOT finds! :) I am going over in Sault Ste. Marie (so I'll be in Michigan). Does anyone know where I should look once in Michigan? I am willing to drive a bit (no more than 2 hours over the boarder). If anyone can be of any help, that would be great!

                    Thank you :)

This thread is so great! I wish we had found this before we started our bags. Becuase I love everyone's entries so far here are ours so far.

So far in ours we have:

                      - Mug with insertable section to personalize ($1.25 from Dollar Giant)

                      - Waterproof watch (Dollar store in England)

Since I first began I changed the guys colors from Yellow to Blue and removed the line under their names. The ladies cups are pink.

We put a picture of each guest on one side and then a photo of us from our engagement shoot. I'll post a better picture soon.

Items that we are still looking for good prices on:

                      - Travel size Aloe or if that fails sunscreen

                      - SPF Lipbalm

                      - Pepto or TUms

                      - Possibly Tylenol or Advil

                      - Notepads & Pens

                      - Likely other stuff will be added closer!

I just used Word to make the template. The lines are to guide me when cutting them out.
