CANADIAN OOT BAG info...where to shop!

Recommended Posts

I just bought stor-it 1 gallon sized ones from dollar tree. These are too large at about 10.5" x 11". Gonna go back and get the 1 quart size which I think should be perfect at 7"x8". They also don't have any writing or anything on them so that's good. I just hope my store has the 1 quart size. I only saw them on the website.

Ladies! Where did you get the plastic bags for your wedding week survival kits? I bought super small ones at Dollarama thinking I would use two, but my aloe is fairly large! I don't want them as big as a large freezer bag, but not as small as those craft ones at Dollarama. Help! :)

Julie, I found mine at some no name dollar store...I actually had bout the cute loot bags that had flip flop designs on them from Dollar Tree but they were way too flimsy when I started putting them together ...so I went on the hunt to every dollar store I could find...the one's I ended up getting have the zip loc at the top but have no print on them (like ziploc brand does etc) ...They are PERFECT and they have multiple sizes of them ....from tiny to large...I am thinking you might be able to also find them at a craft store ...the make of them is Craft Medley and they are called Zip-lock Polybags ...def look in the craft aisles of any dollar store or craft store or walmart if that doesnt work try searching the name on google and see what comes up. Hope this helps!

Ladies, I got my OOT Bags from Vistaprint this week and wanted to share...they weren't my first choice for a bag (I too wanted the Jute bags /or something jute looking) but I got frustrated looking and so I finally ordered from Vistaprint. I have to say I am really loving that the quality is sooo great and I can see our guests using the bags in Jamaica and re-using them at home in the summer etc... Really pleased with how they ended up.

The Palm Tree one is for my single males, the Hibiscus flower on is couples/single ladies and the two tone black handles and bottom hibiscus is for my Mom and Bridesmaids.

They are GORGEOUS!! I have the jute bags and I would rather these! I tried to look into getting their bags but they are so expensive, how did you pull that off?

I am a little disapointed as I am already itching to go back to Jamaica!

Thanks Loreal30, I was so set on Jute but I am pretty happy now with there :) I had a 33% off site wide coupon for vistaprint and because of the quantity I was ordering it turned out not too bad. I was originally only looking to spend $6 on each bag because I wanted to put the bubba`s in each bag BUT I was finding it to difficult and pricey to buy 40 bubba`s sooo I settled on the doubled wall tumbler with the waterproof  persoanlized stickers --and they only cost me $2 to make so I save $5 on the cups ...so I could justify the extra $1.40 on the bags (bags were $7.40 each ...although I could have went with the smaller bag which is same designs and same good quality for around $6...They recently had a 40% off site wide event ...sign up for their emails ...they have great incentives ;)

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
