Right now Canadian Tire has the bubba mugs on 50% off....so we got those for our bridal party.

Went to Dollarama and got clear tumblers for the guests....we also picked up hand sanitizer 2/$1, tylenol, advil, mouth wash, and tums.

We're still looking for lip balm with some SPF....dollarama has nothing, and everything else I can find is $3 or more EACH! Any ideas for this ladies? :)

Also still on the hunt for totes....every website I've found is US only :(

Lipbalm with SPF was something that I really wanted to include so we looked around for awhile for deals. Nothing really came up in the last month but we did find a 3 pack at Superstore for $2.49. This was the best that we found so we bought them. They are not a brand name balm but it does the trick for us.

The ones at Costco are a decent deal but they only had about 4 out of the 8 that had SPF so that was a no deal for us.

If you have plenty of time I would just keep looking around for deals. I'm sure something will come up.

Avon also has some on sale right now for .79 cents....that's another route.

We're running out of time...so tomorrow we're going out to try to finish getting everything else we need. We still need bags...going to try some different dollar stores tomorrow. I'll have a look at superstore and shoppers...and if nothing comes up for lip balm, I'll resort to online purchase...it'll be between avon and the customlipsandmore.com. Wish us luck! I'll post if I find any good deals!

I found it online at single phrases, but I put it into a Microsoft Word format, so that I could remove their logos, cover page, and I added our own sayings, and our monogram.

If you want a copy PM and I will gladly send it to you. It is a print yourself booklet :)

I would love a copy please.

I bought coil bracelet key holders for ours but i got them from a Grand and Toy store. I tried searching for them online but they were always really expensive. The ones I got in store at G&T were not in their online store so I am not sure if it was a one off in this store.

I saw some lanyards at a dollarama the other day but I didn't look at them in detail so I am not sure if they had pictures or sayings on them.

Hello fellow brides!!!

Is there anyone out there that lives in Ontario - central/southern - that would want to share an order of tote bags from discountmugs.com??

I've been looking for a very long time for tote bags...canvas, jute, beach totes....and we are not finding anything and are ready to just order some online....but the more you buy, the better the price.

Here is what we are looking at:

http://www.discountmugs.com/nc/view-product/TOT37/the-regatta-tote-bag/

I would order them blank (so no set-up fee)...and then just use the iron-on transfer paper to put something small on it myself.

What I'm thinking is this...we order 50 bags and then just split the order. I would need 20, but if someone wants to share (or two people), I would be willing to buy a few extra to cover what is left. The total cost is $191.03, which would mean each bag would cost $3.82 - a pretty good price for a nice zippered tote bag. Also, we love the orange colour.

Anyone interested, PM me ASAP to discuss. As of right now the estimated ship date is March 20th - and we leave April 8th, so we need to order them ASAP! :)

Just ordered the lip balm SPF 15 from customlipsandmore.com - uploaded a personal logo to be printed on them for no extra fee. I ordered 30 of them for $27...so not too bad. I'll let you know how they turn out.

COSTCO finds - we decided we would put some snacks into our bags - we got a 24 pack of gum, two packs of 12 small bags of jerky, 120 mini chocolate bars, 30 bags of 100 calorie chips (sunchips, smartfood & cheezies), and a box of diarrhea relief - comes in foils of 6 pills, pack of 84.

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
