CANADIAN OOT BAG info...where to shop!

Recommended Posts

They look great! Are you planning on doing a 'planning thread'? What is inside the bag -- to the left side, behind the cup, has a blue ribbon around it? Just curious! Im so anxious to start mine, I love doing these kinds of things!

Thanks for the kind words!!  I haven't given much thought to doing a planning thread, but I might once I'm out of things to do...

I guess it would have helped if I'd actually written what we put in the bags...so here we go:

-Mugs, with names attached

-Straws with removable spoon end (6 for $1 at Party Packagers)

-Golf Balls

-Pashminas with co-ordinating clutch (this has the blue ribbon tied around it)

-Luggage tags with sharpie

-Snack Pack

-Our Welcome book (worked out to about $11 each from Staples, but so worth it!!)

-Punta Cana info books x3 (all from the D.R. Tourist office in TO, FREE!!)

-A deck of cards with a personalized label

And then the "Wedding Week Kit" which had:

-Spanish for Dummies pocket book

-Nail file

-Glade air freshener

-Purell

-Tums

-Bandaids

-Peptos

-Moist glasses cloths (Dollarama, 20 for $2)

-Advils

-Blistex with SPF

-Emergen-C

-Halls

-Tide SInk Packs

-Temporary Tattoos

I am so sure that I missed stuff, there's just so much!!!!!

Absolutely!!  This is gonna be pic heavy, I took pictures of most of the pages, so they should come up...in terms of wording things like the welcome letter, I googled it.  And other info like the Show and Activity schedule, I asked the resort for and they sent it, no problems...I just colour-coded it to make it smaller and easier to read...

Any of the clip art or other pictures (like the one of Saona Island on the cover) are all off of Google Images.  Same for the Sudoku puzzles....the wordsearch is off of a Discovery Kids website that I actually found on here...

Sorry, some of the pictures are crappy...

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
