Some good samples-

anti redness creams

body lotion- use as after sun

they sample for men too- ask for Vichy for men

Hi Allie,

I can speak to this since I just went through it! We had OOT bags for 70 people. Our OOTs had travel mugs, pashminas, sunglasses, decks of cards, survival kits, key tag holders, and some other things. Packing was a fairly big stress! We didn't want to have to pay for extra luggage. Here is what I suggest you do:

First, see if you are allotted any extra luggage space as bride and groom. If you don't see anything in your contract, ASK someone! I had to ask, and found out that we were allotted 10kg extra luggage - with Transat. YOur TA might not tell you unless you ask. SO, that 10kg went towards our 70 travel mugs. We packed those in cardboard boxes and checked them at oversized luggage. That way we could just toss the boxes when we got there

I put the survival kits together before we left, but that was it. Everything else was assembled when we got there. I used seven carry-on bags and one suitcase to pack the rest - one of my BMs was kind enough to share one suitcase with her husband (he packs light!). Two of those carry-onsbelonged to me and my husband, but the other 5 belonged to friends and family. Start asking now if you can have anyone's carry-ons. Some of our couple friends only packed one carry-on for two people and gave us their carry-ons, some didn't need a carry-on - they packed what they wanted to pack for the plane in their "personal". The personal luggage is key! Each person gets a personal and lots of people don't take advantage of that. You can fit as much in a personal as a carry-on! The key is to start planning it all now, or else you are going to get killed with extra costs at the airport. I think Transat charged 15 per extra kg.

Sorry if this tip is already somewhere in a thread, I just don't have time to check...hopefully it helps:

 

I was working on my key card holders this week and I wanted to give you guys a little tip if you struggled like I did. I ordered some of the vertical waterproof badge holders (with the clear zip at the top) off ebay and fought with them the first night...so much so I was ready to give up on them and made trips to Staples and Walmart to see what else I could find. The problem was I couldn't for the life of me get the plastic zip open at the top...I had to pry them open with a butter knife and in doing that I was just making a big mess of the plastic. Plus, when we finally did get them open, it was impossible to get them closed and re-opened smoothly. Nothing else I found though compared in terms of the weight of the plastic and the fact that they were waterproof. So, I decided to try something last night that worked like a charm!  I simply ran the warm air of my blowdryer over each one for 5 to 8 seconds-ish, until they felt a bit softer in my hand. Then VOILA!  The middle oval bit at the top that the wrist coil goes thru popped out no problem and the zipper began to glide open and closed with ease.

thanks for the tip. What are you putting in the plastic holders? How much stuff do you think the plastic piece can hold? Is it big enough to hold room key and a few dollars?

That's what we're hoping...a room key and a few bills folded should fit just fine.

I wasn't able to find travel sewing kits at Michaels but Dollarama has black sewing kits for a dollar.
