For those of you who want to use vista, you can still make them in Publisher and upload them to Vista. Make sure you save the front and back as two separate files, since you can only upload one file at a time on Vista. AND uploads are FREE right now.

 

So a couple of kids are now joining us in Mexico: 11 year old girl, 9 year old boy, 8 year old girl. What do I get kids these ages!? I have NO idea. Ideas ?!

I used the template found at this link: http://www.ayleebits.com/templates.htm.  I just added a few extra pages to that I had sufficient space to add the information that I needed.  I used the free one and just added in my own background.

Well, I would look for travel/card games myself for that age range...maybe kid friendly (i.e., lipsmacker brand) sparkly cheek glosses or lip glosses for the girls (I bought mine at Dollarama).  I also bought my nieces (10 and 6) these roll-on coloured soaps for the bathtub scented like coconut and cotton candy from Avon...I bought them for .99 each and I've seen them come up at that price again since.  I thought they'd have fun with them in the tub at the resort.  There are all kinds of pool toys, water guns, etc. etc. too...I can't bring myself to buy water guns as I work in inner city schools and am always having to tell my students "no guns in school" (you'd be amazed at what they try to fashion into a gun!)...plus it would be just our luck that some innocent but nasty bystander would get hit with something one of our guests threw and complain.  I did buy some foam flying discs though.  Oh, and my nieces love getting their nails painted too...maybe some child-safe nailpolish?

All the kids coming to my wedding will be under 3, so we're just sticking with good old sand toys... but 11, 9 and 8-year-olds might not be too old for sand-castle-building materials....

Hey!

I am just curious as to how much people are paying for sunblock? I found travel size ones on ebay but it was only 18 ( I need 30) and it was $20 which wasn't bad but shipping was $26 which kinda turned me off as its more than the purchase.  However, I cannot find travel size sunblock anywhere and all the sunblock I do find is full size for $10 or more.  I am wondering if I need to include this as I do know must people will remember to take sunblock when going to Jamaica.  Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I wouldn't include it.  We tried to think of things people may forget and stick to those lines.  I wanted to include aloe but my mom, my mother in law and my FI all said... people will bring sunblock and aloe they are going to a tropical climate so we stuck with other things to save. 

 

If you are really set on including sunblock check out the avon catalogue, I know they had some awhile back....

I don't know about anyone else, but with our package at the Majestic Elegance, we either get one or two rounds of golf included per week (depending on room category...).  My family is big on golf; off the top of my head, we've got about 8 or 10 golfers coming, so here is my new addition to the OOT bags.  We are planning on getting personlized golf balls!!  People can play with them or just keep them as a souvenir, and they really aren't that badly priced...Unfortunately, finding a place in the GTA that does them is impossible, but there are quite a few in the States.

 

Also, got our mugs in from Factory 21 on Ebay.  They are fantastic!!  I would highly recommend them to anybody.  And if anyone wants to know, duty is around $60....
