Hello Krysta,

Here are a few ideas:

- I am putting one of our engagement photos on them along with a pre-paid stamp and asking everyone to fill it out and mail it when they get home with their most memorable moment of the trip

- I used oversized postcards to create 'Room Lists'. I created a simple table and added all of my guests names with a blank cell beside it. Once we check-in everyone can fill in each others room numbers so we know how to contact everyone

- I am using regular sized postcards to make labels for my Hangover kit and Survival kits....I positioned the text vertically and then will fold them in half

- bookmarks

Ladies using vistaprint...

I'm having a hard time getting things for free since I don't want to use the standard templates that vista offers. I uploaded a few things when I got an email saying that uploads were .99, but then the things in my basket were no longer "free" because the .99 upload was from a different email. LOL... this sounds confusing. I hope you girls know what I'm saying here!

Anyway, I have the designs for my luggage tags and key cards all set to go but I want to get them for FREE. Any advice/tips are appreciated :)

Had the same problem.  Delete everything from your cart and then ADD it again through the email where it was free.

I don't know if this makes sense but you should have your designs all set to go using the "free uploads"  Delete them from your cart and then from the email where the business cards or post cards are free.... click the link and then go into your portfolio (i think it is called) upload from there.  They should all come up free then.  I tried this using a few different emails (1 free post cards, 1 free rack cards etc.) and this worked for me!

Let  me know if it works!

Just to let you know the $1.50 section has everything on for $0.75.   Just cleared out the playing cards at my store and am mad at myself for buying the sewing kits when they were $1.50 lol.

I dont know what those ages are into and could use all the help I could get!!! I picked up "water and beach" stuff at the dollarstore which was a big score but I am thinking more activities and things of interest to those ages...

Alright... now onto the good stuff!!!!

Stopped into michaels today for another DIY project item I needed BUT as usual got extremely sidetracked as they have a TON of clearance stuff right now.  Be sure to check out the different clearance sections all over the store!

Demask Playing Cards and mini notebook with pen.  I will be adding these to the BM bags, and our mom's bags! (Leigh, this is a MUST for your bags!!!!!)

$1.50 each BUUUUT today and tomorrow michaels has 25% off your entire regular priced purchase so these were like $1.12 each!!!!!

2 seashell emry boards (for the moms) $0.75 for 2 AND Manicure sets $0.90  --- we're talking cheaper than the DOLLAR STORE!!!!!

Waterbomb footballs and balls for the kids and FI lol - I picked up a water bomb ball game that has the 2 nets for the kids for in the pool and thought these extra balls would be awesome. I considered picking one of these up for each of the GM as well..... $0.90 each football and the 2 balls for the same!

I also picked up inflatable beach balls for $0.90 as well!!!

ANNNNNNNNNND the big news for those of you that are still needing them..... the SEWING KITS ARE BACK!!!!!!!   I almost missed them!!!  They were in the $1 ($1.50 section here in Canada... boo) right by the cash.  They just put out Christmas/Holiday style stuff in this section and they are in this "collection".  They were in different colours then the brights we had in summer but still just as good!   Green, Off white/yellow, brown, a purplish plum i think and a whole bunch more! Sorry don't have a picture as I didn't need anymore but just had to share!!!

Starting tomorrow there is an online coupon for 50% off any reg priced item AND another for 40% off. BUT remember today (and tomorrow I think... ) there is 25% off your ENTIRE regular priced purchase.  I couldn't find this online but they had the sign up in store so I asked about it and she said you had to download and print it... I had 3 pages of printed coupons that I printed off today and showed her it wasn't in there so she just pulled one out of her til and let me use that!!! Never hurts to ask!! Plead your case, tell them it isnt online anymore and you will get 25% off all these $1.50 items!!!!!

Only select items were on 2 for $1.50 - the cards I bought are part of a new collection so they weren't included but the "travel" collection which were blue stripped cards, cards with airplanes, fish etc. were on this deal so I did pick up a few of those too.   The sewing kits in stock now are also part of a new collection so not included in the 2 for $1.50 (or $0.75 each) sale so unless you were lucky enough to have a location that still had the summer ones in stock (none that I have been to had) then you would be paying the same either way!

I usually get chewed by bugs no matter where I go.  DR was the worst (go figure where I'm getting married wacko.gif).  Mexico wasn't too bad (mind you, it rained for 5 days because of Hurricane Ida...), Cuba by far was the best, only came home wih a handful of bites...

Girls - anyone know if bugs are bad in Jamaica, DR, Mexico...?

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
