CANADIAN OOT BAG info...where to shop!

Recommended Posts

Beachbum can you post a picture of the $1 swim suit bag?!  I think I am putting the brakes on my OOTs and will HAVE to say farewell to this thread (ya right) but these are the last thing I am considering picking up, even just for my BMs

Thanks Natalie for letting us know where the blankies are from.... may be another nice addition even just for my BMs!

Hi Tori!

Here's a pic of the $1 one :) They're pretty cute, and should do the trick.

Neat! You are the first on here that has the same date as me! Boy, only 153 days...crazy! How is your planning going? A lot of people are getting married in Jamaica! Because most of our guests are here in the West, it made more sense to get married in Mexico. But I know Jamaica will be amazing!

Ahhh...you beat me to it!  I happened to be at the mall this morning and thought I would pop in to LVEN to check these bags out.  I'm sorry about the comment before about it being a "fancy ziploc"...clearly over the phone there was a miscommunication between the girl and myself as to what they look like.  THEY ARE REALLY CUTE...they're nylon and have sort of a thin rubbery coating on the inside...they carry them all the time apparently and they are $1...BUT...for some reason, they didn't have them hanging out at the store here...they had in the cupboard underneath the registers.  So if you don't see them at the store, ask!

Hi Ladies,

So I have been spending most of my time on this web site on this thread chatting and exchanging deals with you so I wanted to ask you to help me out!

I posted a new thread in the DIY section with photos of the hair fasteners I have made. Do you mind taking a look and giving me your feedback?

Thanks!

I've never heard of the Aqua stores. The first store had the $10, which, I agree are nicer, but seriously, the $1 ones??? Who can go wrong?? They look almost the same, same colour, I believe it's a drawstring at the top instead of a zipper...big whoop!

I thought that they were clearing these ones out at $1 but no, that wasn't the case with our store.

Torilynnsmith...I LOVE YOU!!! I dunno, last night, reading all of the threads, I was thinking, oh crap, I never thought of that, or oh crap, I don't have time...grrrrr. Your ideas for the kids were fantastic, will work on that this weekend. sigh. As for the swim bags, I love them. But, I will warn you that I cleaned out the store at the scarborough town center, and when I asked the toolbox if there were any in the back, she was very confused. Beware, not the brightest stars in there. Good luck in your search, and thanks for the support!

I would do these for the girl too so she doesn't feel left out!!!! Other option would be inespensive floats, you can pick them up ay walmart for $5 of $6!!!! Mom and Dad can blow them up but gives them something to play with in the pool!!!!! Activity books are a great idea, what about an underwater disposable camera, it may not last long but it would be fun for them in the pool or by the pool as they can't wreck it AND itll be fun for them to get developed when they get home!!! Card games like uno, go fish, old maid the old classics lol these can often be found at the dollar store too for inexpensive, they will be great on the plane, by the pool and in the rooms!  Check the toy section at the dollar store and you can be a HERO for a few bucks each child!!!!

Question about the bikini bags, at the first la vie en rose they were $10? Were they not on sale there.... I am going to Toronto to get these Saturday but I want to be sure they are $1!!!! I just love that!!! LOL

Breathe.... Breathe again and SIGH!!!! You are getting married in FOUR WEEKS!!! Get excited!!! It will be great!!!

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
    • Hello everyone, I am dreaming of a wedding in Costa Rica and was wondering if I could get any help with venues and wedding planners. I am thinking Tamarindo because a close friend of mine lives there and I've been in town more than a couple of times, she's being helpful but is at a loss when it comes to this subject really so I was wondering if anyone here had recommendations. I am not closed to other town suggestions either, if I happen to find a good place and staff somewhere else. These are the places I have so far, has anyone had any experience with any of them?  Stay In Tamarindo Luxury Villas in Costa Rica Luxury Villas Pinilla Tropical Homes of Costa Rica The Point Luxury Villa Thank you so much for your help!
